जाँचबुझ आयोगकै अध्यक्ष कार्कीमाथि छानबिन गर्न सिफारिस

Kathmandu.  The National Human Rights Commission has recommended an investigation into Gauri Bahadur Karki, the chairperson of the Judicial Inquiry Commission formed by the government to investigate the incidents that took place on Bhadra 23 and 24.

The commission has stated that an investigation should be conducted into whether Karki was involved in the human and material damage caused in those incidents and whether his public statements provoked or angered the protesters.

The commission has recommended that if there is any involvement or incitement by him and other individuals in activities that disrupt public peace and order, legal action be taken after conducting a thorough investigation.

Karki had been in controversy over his statements on social media during the Genji movement. In the meantime, the government had also been criticized for appointing him as the chairman of the Judicial Inquiry Commission.
